The wall element has two opposite cover plates, at least one being of glass, and a core layer filling the space between then consisting of microcapsules of phase-change material encased in plastic shells. The core layer is a mixture of these microcapsules and a powder-form heat-conducting additive with a hexagonal layer matrix structure.
