<p>Process for permanent deformation of keratinous fiber, preferably hair, comprises applying a reductive composition on the keratinous fibers to reduce the disulfide bonds of keratin, where the fibers are implemented before, during or after the application, and fixing an oxidizing composition containing an oxidizing agent and at least one cationic polymer thickener that is the product of polymerization of a mixture of monomers on the keratinous fibers for reforming the bonds.
