PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a torque detection device with which it is possible to suppress the breakage of a detector due to an electrostatic discharge and improve an electrostatic breakdown voltage.SOLUTION: A torque detection device 18 includes: a permanent magnet 30 fixed to an input shaft; magnetic yokes 31, 32 fixed to an output shaft; a magnetism collecting holder 33 disposed so as to enclose the magnetic yokes 31, 32; a sensor housing 34 for accommodating the magnetism collecting holder 33; magnetism collecting rings 56, 57 for guiding magnetic fluxes from the magnetic yokes 31, 32; a magnetic shield plate 58 disposed between the magnetism collecting rings 56, 57 and the inner wall surface 38 of the sensor housing 34; magnetic sensors 59, 60 for detecting the magnetic fluxes guided by the magnetism collecting rings 56, 57; and a discharge suppression member 70 for suppressing the occurrence of an electrostatic discharge between the magnetic shield plate 58 and the sensor housing 34 and disposed between the magnetic shield plate 58 and the inner wall surface 38 of the sensor housing 34.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4 |
