A METHOD FOR DOWNLOADING FAVORITE CONTENTS IN A MOBILE COMMUNICATION TERMINAL, AND A MOBILE COMMUNICATION SYSTEM

A method for downloading favorite contents in a mobile terminal and a mobile communication system for the same are provided to enable a user to download updated contents without complicated procedures by transmitting a BREW(Binary Runtime Environment for Wireless) SMS message to the user's mobile terminal so that the user can directly access a webpage to download the updated contents, in case the contents exist in the user's favorites content list. If a BREW SMS message is received(S310), a control part judges whether an access function can be executed for the BREW SMS message(S320). If so, the control part accesses a web address contained in the BREW SMS message and displays the webpage(S330). If the user selects contents to download(S340), the control part requests a server to transmit the selected contents(S350). If the contents are downloaded from the server(S360), the control part judges whether the downloaded contents are of a normal version or a demo version(S370). In case the downloaded contents are of a demo version, the control part initiates counting for the validity of the demo-version contents(S380).
