A dishwasher is provided to operate normal operating and noiseless operating modes freely in a switched method, and to avoid the cleaning time extension by controlling a water supply valve, a cleaning pump, a heater, a drain pump, and a blowing fan by a control program. A body(1) of a dishwasher comprises a washing tub(2) for receiving and cleaning dishes. Cleaning water is collected on a bottom part(2a) of the washing tub, supplied to a plurality of cleaning nozzles(41,42,43,44) which are arranged in the washing tub, and sprayed toward the dishes which are in dish baskets(48,49). The body of the dishwasher drives a water supply valve, a cleaning pump, a heater(5), a drain pump, and a blowing fan(7) by load control devices(11). The cleaning program has a normal operating mode and a noiseless operating mode. A program of a cleaning course is in a memory part(20) of a cleaning device(12) as a control program. The control program controls the drive of the water supply valve, the cleaning pump, the heater, the drain pump, and the blowing fan. The normal operating and noiseless operating modes are selected at any time, and the normal operating mode is switched to the noiseless operating mode, and the noiseless operating mode is switched to the normal operating mode. Water is supplied to spraying passages(52,54) through a spraying device(51). Water is supplied through a spraying pipe(55) extended from the cleaning nozzles.
