A new turfgrass cultivar of Gongju Poa pratensis L.(Kentucky bluegrass) is provided to prepare high quality turfgrass surface by increasing growth rate and individual density, darkening the leaf color, and improving resistance against disease, dryness and cold. The novel turfgrass cultivar of Gongju Poa pratensis L.(Kentucky bluegrass) has the morphological properties of (a) green period of about 10 months, (b) leaf color of dark green, (c) plant height of 7.0-8.0 cm, leaf length of 8.0-9.0 cm, leaf width of 2.9-3.1 mm, and earing stem length of 34-43 cm, (d) earing amount of 6.0 score and medium maturation degree, and shows properties that (e) bands are not shown at D of OPB-5 primer, C of OPB-7 primer, C of OPB-8 primer, C of OPB-10 primer and A, C of OPB-18 primer, and bands are shown at A, F of OPB-4 primer, A, C of OPB-8 primer, A, B, E of OPB-10 primer and B, G of OPB-18 primer, analyzed by using RAPD(Random Amplified Polymorphic DNA).
