WASTEGATE WITH INJECTED FLOW

A turbine of a turbocharger comprises housing walls limiting a diffuser. A central body inside the diffuser is supported by vortex removal vanes extended from the wall of the diffuser inside the diffuser. The central body has a vortex removal passage having an average flow diameter increasing from an upstream end part of the central body to a leading edge of the vortex removal vanes. A trailing edge of the vortex removal vanes are placed near a downstream end part of the central body. Circular guide vanes surround the central body inside the vortex removal passage. A waste gate system is configured to discharge movement of a waste gate into the diffuser through injection ports on the vortex removal vanes, the circular guide vanes, and/or the central body.
