A boiler control method according to the heating load is provided to sufficiently heat a room even if space which is smaller than the capacity of a boiler is heated by manipulating a valve of each room, and to reduce noise in a pipe generated by a circulation pump in a post purge stroke. A method of controlling a boiler according to the heating load includes the step of heating a room by the combustion of a burner, the step of measuring a time at which heating water temperature increased by the combustion of the burner reaches a preset first reference temperature, and the step of comparing the measured time with the first reference time which is preset by a control unit, thus controlling the amount of heat. The first reference temperature which is set by the control unit is burning-off temperature, and the amount of heat supplied by the burner is reduced when the measured time is shorter than the first reference temperature. |
