A stove is provided to prevent soot generated during combustion from polluting a glass door by changing the shape of a stove body, and to completely discharge smoke to a chimney while preventing the discharge of the smoke to an opening. A stove includes a body(10) which is made of a metal material of a predetermined shape and has an internal space for igniting and burning a heat source. An opening(20) is formed in the front of the body and a door(60) made of a transparent material is mounted to the opening. A chimney coupling hole(30) is formed in the upper portion of the body to discharge smoke through a chimney. A protrusion(80) is provided along the edge of the opening and is designed such that the upper, left and right portions thereof are secured to the body and the lower portion thereof is free to be spaced apart from the front of the body at a predetermined interval. Thus, external air is introduced through a gap between the protrusion and the body and moves along the back of the door, thus preventing soot generated during the combustion of the heat source from being in direct contact with the back of the door. Each of the door and protrusion has a rectangular shape. A bent part extends from the stove body in such a way as to be bent towards the door at a predetermined slope. Thereby, the air introduced through the gap between the protrusion and the stove body is guided via the bent part and is smoothly guided to the back of the door. |
