A jack is provided to reduce work time and conveniently perform work by simply rotating a main shaft through a motor having a profile shifted gear transmission. A jack(1) includes a pair of link arms(10,20), lower and upper support plates(30,40), and an operating unit(50). The pair of link arms face each other and are folded and unfolded with respect to hinge bolts(14,24) coupled with articulation units(13,23). The lower support plate connects lower ends of the pair of link arms and supports the ground. The upper support plate connects upper ends of the pair of the link arms and supports a car body. The operating unit is installed across the articulation units of the pair of link arms and operates the pair of link arms to be folded and unfolded at the same time. The operating unit has a main shaft(60) and an operating plate(70). One end of the main shaft is rotatably coupled with a support ring(25) coupled with the hinge bolt of one of the link arms, and the other end of the main shaft is extended inward by a predetermined length and has a male thread(61). One end of the operating plate is coupled with the hinge bolt of the other of the link arms, and the other end of the operating plate is extended inward by a predetermined length and has a female thread coupled with the male thread of the main shaft. |
