DRAWING INFORMATION STORAGE METHOD

A method for storing drawing information in a vessel graphic builder is provided to reduce a search time without searching all information of all objects by finding the object to be deleted or the object including attribute to be corrected quickly and effectively with an object type and an object index. File header information of drawing file information is analyzed and object header information is analyzed when a search command is received. An object name is formed by using an object type and index, and it is determined whether the object to be searched is matched with the object name. Object attribute information is modified or the object is deleted when the object name is matched, and the corrected object name is stored. The object name is generated, compared, and stored by searching the next object when the object name is unmatched.
