A control device that controls a vehicle drive device in which a first engagement device, a rotating electrical machine, a second engagement device, and an output member are sequentially arranged in this order from an input member side on a power transmission path that connects an input member drivingly coupled to an internal combustion engine to the output member drivingly coupled to wheels, wherein
the control device executes a slip drive mode in order to control both the first engagement device and the second engagement device to a slip engaged state, and to control a rotational speed of the rotating electrical machine to a value that is lower than a rotational speed of the input member and higher than a rotational speed of the output member, and the control device executes the slip drive mode when a current vehicle required force that is required in order to cause the vehicle to travel is increased in a state in which the input member is drivingly coupled to the internal combustion engine, the first engagement device is in a direct-coupling engaged state and the second engagement device is in a disengaged state. |
