The purpose of the present invention is to provide a rotary damper, configured to rotate a rotor by using kinetic energy of an actuating device rotated and linearly moved, wherein the rotor performs damping operation when the rotor is rotated in one direction and the rotor does not perform the damping operation when the rotor is rotated in another direction in order to reduce the size of the damper itself to reduce an installation space and be used regardless of a sliding body or a window vertically moved and rotated to perform the damping operation. More specifically, the other purpose of the present invention is to provide the rotary damper which can be manufactured to have a block shape to reduce overall dimensions and enables the rotor rotated for the damping operation to effectively receive resistance of working fluid to improve damping efficiency. |
