A door opening/closing unit capable of controlling door rotation speed and an image forming apparatus including the same are provided to minimize the amount of impacts transmitted to a door by gradually reducing the rotation speed when the door rotates. A slider includes a coupling boss(340) and a guide groove(350). The coupling boss is prepared in one of a main body(110) and a door rotatably coupled with the main body. The guide groove receives and guides the coupling boss when the door rotates. A door speed controller(361) is prepared in one side of the slider, and controls rotation speed of the door by controlling friction force between the coupling boss and the guide groove according to a rotation angle of the door when the door rotates.
