METHOD FOR CONSTRUCTING PIER UNIT HAVING H-BEAM

A construction method of a pile unit of an unfilled expanded cross section having an H-pile is provided to install a large H-pile, to prevent an increase in the cost required for boring work caused by enlarging the diameter of a perforated hole, and to reduce the usage of unnecessary filler. A construction method of a pile unit of an unfilled expanded cross section having an H-pile comprises the steps of: forming a first hole(50) on the ground to the appointed depth using a boring machine(70) such as an auger, and inserting a first pipe member(51) of a semicircular cross sectional structure having a concave part to the first hole; forming a second hole(60) adjacent to the concave part of the first pipe member; drawing out and removing the first pipe member to form the first hole and the second hole continuously to be overlapped partially; and installing an H-pile(10) to make a flange(12) of the H-pile located in the first hole and another flange(13) located in the second hole, thereby the H-pile is placed over the first hole and the second hole.
