<p>Device for biological treatment of water in a fish breeding pool is composed of a biofilter, aerator and sludge-removing device. Biofilter is built as a rectangular container 1 with a narrowing downwards bottom. Walls 2 of the container have a surface with a low friction coefficient. Filler 3 is delimited by a netting 4. An aerator 5 is mounted under the netting in the basement of bottom. A vertical partition-wall 6 may be mounted inside the biofilter. The basement of bottom may have a number of drain vents 8. The proposed device for biological treatment of water allows to improve circulation of water and the filler, thereby improving both aerobic and anaerobic water treatment, as well as to improve collection and removal of sludge from the biofilter and avoid fast fouling of the drain vent.</p> |
