METHOD OF MANUFACTURING ELECTROPHORETIC DISPLAY DEVICE

A method for manufacturing an electrophoretic display device is provided to reduce the manufacturing time of the electrophoretic display device, thereby realizing mass production of the electrophoretic display device. A thin film transistor substrate(10) is prepared, wherein the thin film transistor substrate has a thin film transistor array. A sealing line(80) is formed on the thin film transistor substrate. The sealing line is primarily cured. An area of the thin film transistor substrate, which is demarcated by the sealing line, is filled with a capsule composition. A counter substrate is bound to the thin film transistor substrate. The sealing line is cured. A humidity of the capsule composition, with which the area of the thin film transistor substrate is filled, is controlled. The sealing line is preliminarily cured by performing treatment or ultraviolet treatment on the sealing line. In preliminarily curing the sealing line, the sealing line is cured to 50-95%. The capsule composition contains color capsules.
