A selective communication service providing method for allowing a callee and a caller to hear the same sound source is provided to allow a user to escape from a communication pollution generated in various forms of calls, short messages, or e-mails that is not desired by the user. A communication providing server receives reception permission conditions from a user(S61). The server receives a selected bell sound file corresponding to the reception permission conditions(S62). The reception permission conditions set by a user are stored in a database such that it corresponds to the bell sound file(S63). The bell sound file corresponding to the reception permission conditions is provided to a user terminal(S64). Information obtained by corresponding the reception permission conditions to the bell sound file is provided to the user terminal(S65). When a call connection is requested by a caller terminal, the server checks whether the connection request satisfies the reception permission conditions(S66,S67). When the call connection request satisfies the reception permission conditions, a reproduction sound of the corresponding bell sound file is transmitted to the caller terminal(S68).
