A compact imaging lens is provided to implement an aspheric surface having a high degree of freedom and reduce a weight by being made of synthetic resin with a specific gravity of less than 1.5. A compact imaging lens includes an iris, a first lens(L1), a second lens(L2), a third lens(L3) and a fourth lens(L4) sequentially formed from an object side. The first lens whose upper surface is an aspheric surface has positive refractive power and is formed in both-convex shape. The second lens whose upper surface is concave has negative refractive power and is formed in meniscus shape. The third lens whose upper surface is convex has positive refractive power and is formed in meniscus shape. The fourth lens has negative refractive power.
