The filter bag (1) comprises two rectangular fleece or paper sheets (6) seam welded along the perimeter (7) with an opening (3) to receive the dust laden air stream behind which is a circular, square or rectangular deflector (2) with a baffle plate opposite the opening supported by side walls having openings for the air flow. Within the bag on the wall opposite the opening is an air permeable sheet (4) partially attached to the wall.
