A cone pulley pair comprises an input shaft, fixed to a fixed pulley, a moveable pulley, arranged on the shaft so as to be axially displaceable and rotationally fixed, a torque sensor device with a shaped surface which is fixed to the shaft and an additional shaped surface which is fixed to a sensor piston that encircles the shaft, can be axially displaced and rotated in relation to the shaft. Said sensor piston engages with a rotationally driveable input wheel in a rotationally fixed and axially displaceable manner and can be impinged upon with hydraulic pressure from the end facing the moveable pulley. The shaped surfaces are configured in such a manner that the sensor piston is moved towards the moveable pulley by the effect of rollers arranged between the shaped surfaces rolling off once the torque effective between the sensor piston and the moveable pulley increases. The sensor piston and the input wheel engage with each other in a rotationally fixed and axially displaceable engagement and disengage when the torque is effective from the moveable pulley and when the sensor piston is not impinged upon with hydraulic pressure.
