A key embedded in a transponder and a method of manufacturing the same are provided to separate a key plate from the transponder by a predetermined distance or more such that the interference of a radio wave is prevented in the transmission/reception of the radio wave. A key embedded in a transponder(100) includes the transponder, a key plate(300), a transponder holder(200), and a key knob(400). The transponder holder is used to fix the transponder to the key plate. The key plate includes a first protrusion(310) and a concave part(330). The first protrusion prevents the key plate from being separated from the transponder holder. A second protrusion(320) is provided in the concave part. The second protrusion protrudes lengthwise along the key plate.
