A tuner is provided to improve receivability through stable RF amplification by outputting RF(Radio Frequency) amplification gain control voltage having a linear characteristic to an RF amplifier so that the RF amplifier can stably perform gain adjustment according to the linear characteristic. In a tuner which comprises an RF amplifier(21), an MOPLL(Mixer Oscillator PLL) IC(Integrated Circuit)(22), and an AGC(Automatic Gain Control) circuit(23), the AGC circuit has an operation amplifier(OP AMP). The operation amplifier outputs gain control voltage, which is outputted from the MOPLL, into RF amplification gain control voltage having a linear characteristic.
