The invention relates to an anchorage rod (4) intended to articulately accommodate at least one strut (la-b, 2a-b) for ladders which have open-ended tubular rungs. The anchorage rod (4) comprises a tubular element, a conical securing element (5a, b) intended to cooperate with the open ends of the rungs, and a fastening device (6a-b, 10) intended to fastenably accommodate part of a strut. The anchorage rod (4) may comprise two such tubular elements with a mutually securing device intended to fasten together the two tubular elements. The anchorage rod can be screwed together to various lengths and has a cross-section which fits all ladders currently on the market, and the conical securing element makes it easy to fasten the anchorage rod in any desired ladder which has tubular rungs. The separable tubular elements of the anchorage rod (4) may be adapted to being accommodated in one another by being threaded so that they can be screwed together to desired lengths. The conical securing element may be made of an elastic material. The invention also relates to a strut with such an anchorage rod. |
