A worker safety management device using a wireless sensor network is provided to prevent various safety accidents previously and cope with various safety accidents which can occur in shipyards. A worker safety management device using a wireless sensor network comprises a sensing unit(211), a storage unit(213), a control unit(212), a communication unit(214), an alarm unit(216), a power unit(215), and a management unit(220). The sensing unit measures the present state of a worker and environmental states around the worker. The storage unit stores the data inputted from the sensing unit, manual data for dangerous situations, and the ID of the worker safety management device. The control unit compares the measured data with the manual data stored in the storage unit and judges whether a dangerous situation has been occurred. If data about the occurrence of a dangerous situation are received from the control unit, the communication unit transmits the data to the worker safety management device and the management unit. If a signal about the occurrence of a dangerous situation is received from the control unit, the alarm unit raises an alarm. The power unit stores power for the worker safety management device, and supplies it to the worker safety management device. The management unit receives data related to various dangerous situations through the communication unit, and manages them.
