Ammonium chloride crystals are obtained by crystallization of a solution of the salt to which has been added a small proportion of a substance which can form mixed crystals or a double salt therewith, such as chloride of manganese, iron, cobalt, nickel, or copper. Continuous agitation during crystallization gives uniform, small substantially spherical crystals. |
