A reactor for manufacturing metal nanoparticle and a manufacturing arrangement having the same are provided to prevent the driving source from being damaged by gamma ray by employing a driving source which excludes electronic parts and to obtain uniform metal nanoparticle by irradiating gamma ray equally on the reactants. A metal nanoparticle manufacturing arrangement has a gamma ray irradiation equipment inside a radioactivity shielding room, a reactor(30) and a compressor outside of the radioactivity shielding room. The reactor has a vessel(31), a stirring part(41) equipped in the vessel and a driving source(51). The vessel has several numbers of holes(31a) for discharging gas generated in the vessel on the cover and several numbers of supports(33) which supports the body of the vessel. The wall of the vessel has a first part(34) consisting of a plane and a second part(35) consisting of spherical surface. The first part is opposite to the gamma ray irradiation equipment, forms an inlet(36), and has a window(37) for covering the inlet. A lock-up frame(38) supports the rim of the window for confining the body of the vessel to a confining part(61) in order to ease the exchange of the window when necessary. The stirring part contains a shaft(43) equipped with a stir wing(45). The driving source transforms the air pressure from a compressor to revolution power, and contains a pneumatic motor(53) which provides the shaft of the stirring part with revolution power. The pneumatic motor is equipped on the cover of the vessel by means of a bracket(53a), and the motor is connected to the compressor by means of air tube(81). The air tube is equipped with a control part(91) which controls the speed of the stirring part. The control part has a flux control valve(93) which controls the amount of the compressed air supplied for the pneumatic motor from the compressor in the air tube.
