A method for receiving a broadcasting service and a unicast service and a system for the same are provided to minimize a loss of MBMS(Multimedia Broadcast Multicast Service) data and a loss of unicast data as a UE(User Equipment), which has to execute an MBMS service and a unicast service at the same time, executes the unicast service at periods not schedule for the MBMS service, based on the MBMS scheduling information received from an ENB(Evolved Node B). A UE receives an MBMS service from the cell on MBMS dedicated carrier(411). If RAU(Routing Area Update) and a unicast service start and it is time to receive a paging message, the UE switches to the cell on unicast carrier(412,413). The UE calculates candidate SFN periods, or candidate timing, to receive unicast signaling/data from the cell on unicast carrier, based on the scheduling information of the MBMS service which is being received from the cell on MBMS dedicated carrier(414). Then the UE transmits the calculated candidate SFN period information to an ENB through an RAU or LTE connection request message(415). If not, the UE switches to the cell on MBMS dedicated carrier and receives the MBMS service(416). If a candidate SFN period comes, the UE switches to the cell on unicast carrier again(417). At one among the candidate SFN periods, the UE receives a response message for the RAU or LTE connection request message(418). The UE receives the unicast service(419).
