RFID READER WITH MULTI ANTENNA

An RFID(Radio Frequency Identification) reader having multiple antennas is provided to arrange a plurality of antennas for a single RFID engine to reduce the number of RFID engines, thereby decreasing the manufacturing cost. An RFID reader includes an antenna unit, a switch(110), an RFID engine(120), and a first radio transceiver(130). The antenna unit includes a plurality of antennas for receiving RFID tag information. The switch sequentially identifies the antennas and receives the RFID tag information. The RFID engine identifies the RFID tag information and information on the antennas receiving the RFID tag information. The first radio transceiver wirelessly transmits the information received by the RFID engine to a second radio transceiver of a server.
