A security communication unit is provided to integrate a security unit including an encryption module into a communication network to improve security of a communication network including a plurality of electric or electronic devices having control units. A security communication unit(SCU) includes at least one encryption module(KU) and at least one coordination module(KM). The encryption module generates, stores, manages and/or processes an encryption code. The coordination module coordinates individual internal modules of the security communication unit and manages hardware resources, and allocates the resources to applications. The encryption module performs authentication and the coordination module secures stability of the security communication unit.
