METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR LINKING WEB PAGE IN MOBILE TERMINAL

A method and a device for linking a webpage in a mobile terminal are provided to connect to the linked webpage in the current resized webpage when a user outputs and resizes the webpage after connecting to the Internet. A controller(103) generates a link coordinate table listing coordinates of link areas included in a webpage, stores the link coordinate table to a link coordinate table storing area(113) of a memory, and outputs the webpage when the webpage is received. The controller resizes the webpage and calculates link confirmation coordinates, which is the coordinates of the original webpage corresponding to a cursor placed in the resized webpage, when a user requests resizing the webpage. The controller replaces the coordinates included in the link area corresponding to the calculated link confirmation coordinates with the coordinates of the resized webpage and displays the area formed by the replaced coordinates differently from the remaining area of the resized webpage when the link confirmation coordinates are found in the link coordinates table.
