OPTICAL JUMPER CORD AND METHOD OF MANUFACTURING THE SAME

An optical jumper chord and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to couple the optical jumpers with each other without forming a fusing point by adjusting a diameter of an optical fiber using a micro torch. An optical jumper chord includes a cable and a connector unit(200). An optical fiber(OP) is embedded in the cable. The connector units are arranged at both ends of the cable. A core extending unit, where a diameter of the core is increased, is formed on an end portion of the optical fiber, which is introduced into one of the connector units. An optical fiber coupling ferrule(220) is arranged on the connector unit. The core extending unit is arranged on an end of the optical fiber, which is introduced into the ferrule.
