A lithium/silicon sulfide battery is provided to realize excellent charge/discharge efficiency at room temperature, high theoretical capacity, and improved cost-efficiency and stability. A lithium/silicon sulfide battery comprises: a solid lithium cathode; an electrolyte formed of a lithium salt, and a solvent mixture based on glyme or carbonate solvents; and a solid silicon sulfide cathode comprising silicon sulfide, carbon and polyvinylidene fluoride. The electrolyte comprises 0.1-1.6 moles of the lithium salt added thereto. The cathode comprises 50-80 wt% of silicon sulfide, 5-25 wt% of carbon and 5-25 wt% of polyvinylidene fluoride. |
