A system and a method for monitoring an emergency report call are provided to enable an emergency report processor to receive a signal of a wireless emergency button and transmit an alarm through a telephone network(or portable phone network) when a user presses the wireless emergency button when a situation such as invasion by a robber is generated, thereby more actively preventing crimes. An emergency report processor(110) performs a control operation necessary for emergency report processing in an emergency call connection device. A wireless emergency button(130) is wirelessly connected with the emergency report processor to inform emergencies. A signal switching unit(160) is connected with the emergency report processor, and performs signal switching so as to perform connection with a telephone(200) using a PSTN(Public Switched Telephone Network) or connection with a public security management server(300) using a network. A microphone(170) and a speaker(180) are connected with the emergency report processor. |
