A system for preventing illegal parking and stopping is provided to prevent traffic congestion on roads by performing visual and auditory operations through a guidance unit. A system for preventing illegal parking and stopping includes a detecting unit(10), a controller(20), and a guidance unit(30). The detecting unit detects vehicles which are parked on roads. The controller checks a parked time of the vehicles through signals from the detecting unit, transmits a drive start signal to the guidance unit when the parked time of the vehicles exceeds a predetermined time, and transmits a drive stop signal to the guidance unit when the vehicles move through signals outputted from the detecting unit. The guidance unit performs a visual and auditory operation according to the drive start and stop signals. |
