A bollard using artificial wood is provided to harmonize with the scenic beauty of cities and to improve an aesthetic sense by forming a bollard in the shape of wood, to prevent a pedestrian from being injured when being bumped into a bollard by mistake by supplying shock absorbing force, and to let pedestrians recognize the installation of a bollard at night and to improve the night view of cities by using a light source. A bollard using artificial wood comprises artificial wood(10) fixed/installed to a footway or the boundary between a footway and a roadway, and a bollard cover(20) surrounding the artificial wood. The artificial wood is provided with a solar battery panel(13), a control unit connected with the solar battery panel electrically and a storage battery storing up electric power supplied from the solar battery panel, and the bollard cover is formed to surround the lower part of the artificial wood and made of urethane having elastic force, provided with plural LEDs connected with the solar battery panel, the control unit and the storage battery electrically to radiate toward the upper part of the artificial wood, and composed of an inner cover, an outer cover installed at a certain distance from the outside of the inner cover and plural connectors connecting the inner cover and the outer cover.
