The kiln has a secure locking device (14) securely locking a door e.g. flap type door, closing a cooking chamber. The device is movable in a reinforced position where the device is reinforced by rotation of a bolt around a rotational axis and a locked position where the device is locked by rotation of the bolt around the axis by the door and the bolt fitted inside a locking pin arranged in the door. The device has a locking unit cooperated with the bolt. The unit has an arm that passes via an opening (56) arranged in a case (15) of device and allows angular displacement for the positions. An independent claim is also included for a method for locking a door of a domestic kiln.
