METHOD OF SIMULATION AND DESIGN OF EARTHING INSTALLATIONS

This method is particularly useful in windparks, and configures a mesh of intersection points for the conductors forming the network of earths in the installation terrain. Each point is defined by XYZ coordinates and an earthing intensity and the mesh can include multiple peaks. The simulation and design method by means of a graphic interface is used to: -input at least one resistivity value for each point, a separation distance between peaks and environmental parameter values of the terrain, measured in said terrain; - input geometric and electric parameter values for the substation; -calculate as electrical output values at least values of contact voltage, passage voltage and access voltage for each point; - construct a geoelectric map of the predetermined terrain by the distribution of the output electric variables in each point of the mesh.
