An automatic floodgate opening and shutting according to water flow is provided to open a floodgate main body when water is at the highest level by sending hydraulic oil to a compression tank and to close the floodgate main body when water is at the lowest level by receiving hydraulic oil from the compression tank. An automatic floodgate opening and shutting according to water flow comprises a floodgate support base(10), a floodgate main body(20), an floodgate operating cylinder(30), and a compression tank. The floodgate support base is installed across a river and includes a front plate(13) and an opening part. The opening part guides water to flow over the front plate. The floodgate main body is rotatively installed at a bracket(15) at the back of the front plate and opens and closes the opening part selectively. The floodgate operating cylinder is disposed between the floodgate main body and the floodgate support base to support the floodgate main body. The compression tank, which is connected with the floodgate operating cylinder via an oil hose(35), transfers hydraulic oil filled inside to the floodgate operating cylinder. The compression tank is filled with gas at the upper part. |
