<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase the power generation performance of a fuel cell. <P>SOLUTION: The fuel cell is formed by alternately stacking a power generation element and a separator. The separator has a first reaction gas passage which is a passage for supplying or exhausting first reaction gas between a first surface countering a first electrode of one power generation element and the first electrode, passing through the inside of the separator and having an opening part opening on the first surface at one end, and has a second gas passage which is a passage supplying or exhausting second reaction gas between a second surface countering a second electrode of other power generation element and the second electrode countering the second surface, passing through the inside of the separator and having an opening part opening on the second surface at one end. The opening part of the first reaction gas passage and the opening part of the second reaction gas passage are positioned along a first portion out of peripheries of a power generation region of the separator. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
