<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel cell separator with an excellent assembling property of a fuel cell stack and hardly generating deterioration of battery characteristics even if it is operated for a long time, as well as a fuel cell using above. <P>SOLUTION: The fuel cell separator is composed of a molded body containing preferably graphite and resin in a range of a bending breaking strain of 0.5% or more, or a compression elasticity modulus of 20 GPa or less, or a Shore hardness of 20 to 50. A total concentration of dissolution of sodium, potassium, iron, nickel and magnesium dissolved out after being immersed in water 30 times the volume of the molded body kept at 80°C for 100 hours is 20 ppm or less and a sulfur concentration thereof is 30 ppm or less. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
