PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effectively strike a balance between the display of contents image for passengers and the display of the map information necessary for passing the guidance spot by a driver even if approaching the guidance spot when running on the route while displaying the contents image. SOLUTION: A contents processing means 44 provides the contents image while reproducing or receiving. A display control means 46 controls a display part 10 in a map display state or in the contents image display state in addition to the bitmap imaging etc. For the contents image for example, scenery photograph near the destination etc., are considered. When running on the route in the displaying state of the contents image, a stepwise switching means 48 displays the contents image as the position of own vehicle is approaching the guidance spot while stepwise displaying the contents image and also processes to display the map in the display part 10 while stepwise raising the rate of the map.
