PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce a hitting sound generated when stopping entering or retracting motion of a disk tray without using additional parts such as a leaf spring. SOLUTION: A disk device is equipped with; a disk tray 20 which loads/unloads a disk by receiving drive force to eject and insert the disk from/to a chassis 10; a guide means 30 which guides the disk tray 20; a stopper means 40 to stop entry or retraction of the disk tray 20; a braking means 50 to brake the disk tray 20 and decrease gradually retracting speed just before stopping the retraction of the disk tray 20. The braking means 50 comprises a combination of a first sliding member 51 and a second sliding member 52 which is composed of a leaf spring made of resin as the opposite member. The first sliding member 51 is integrally formed in the chassis 10 which is composed of resin mold, and the second sliding member 52 is integrally formed in the disk tray 20 which is composed of resin mold.
