PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To record much data in a memory, while maintaining arithmetic operation accuracy in a control device, in a data recorder for recording data read by using an external device and data used for an arithmetic operation in the control device. SOLUTION: A CPU 11 of an ECU 10 records arithmetic operation data in a temporary recording area 21 by performing the arithmetic operation based on a detecting result by various sensors 31 to 39 detecting various states in a vehicle in various arithmetic operation processing. The CPU 11 also transmits a control command corresponding to an arithmetic operation result to a control object by performing the arithmetic operation based on the arithmetic operation data recorded in the temporary recording area 21, and records the arithmetic operation data after data conversion in a storage recording area 22 by performing the data conversion for reducing a data quantity of the arithmetic operation data.
