PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce vibration of a receiving cylinder by a supporting system's resonance when spin-drying is activated, noises caused by the vibration, and a time for spin-drying. SOLUTION: A washing machine has: a wash tank for rotating laundry; a motor for rotation driving the wash tank; a control means for controlling the motor; a receiving cylinder which houses the wash tank and is supported by a case body; supporting means for holding and supporting a posture of the receiving cylinder; a plurality of vibration detection means for detecting vibrations of the receiving cylinder; imbalance amount estimating means for estimating a position and amount of imbalance by the vibration detection means and a vibration state of the receiving cylinder; and vibration control means for performing control driving of the support means on the basis of an output of the imbalance amount estimating means.
