PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air filtering apparatus filtering air in a large space and reducing water consumption. SOLUTION: This air filtering apparatus 1 is provided with, an electrolytic water generator part 46 for generating electrolytic water by electrolyzing water, a gas-liquid contact member 53 to which the electrolytic water is supplied, a water receiving tray 42 for receiving the electrolytic water discharged from the gas-liquid contact member 52, and an electrolytic water circulating path for supplying the electrolytic water received in the water receiving tray 42 as electrolysis target water to the electrolytic water generator part 46. This air filtering apparatus circulates indoor air to the gas-liquid contact member 53 where the electrolytic water is supplied, filters the air and blows it to an indoor space; is constituted to drip water from an external water supply source to a water receiving tray 42 through water supply pipes 62 and 63 and a water supply valve 61; and has a water level detecting means 43A and 43B for detecting the water level of the water receiving tray 42, and a control part 39A for opening or closing the water supply valve 61 in accordance with the water level detected by the water level detecting means 43A and 43B.
