A synthetic resin guide ( 10 ) for a transmission device comprising (i) a slide rail ( 20 ), and (ii) a rail supporting body ( 30 ) comprising two flanges ( 32 ) and ( 34 ), two support elements, being a first support element ( 36 ) and a second support element ( 38 ), a web layer ( 40 ) and reinforcing ribs ( 50 ), the two flanges being an upper flange ( 32 ) directly engaged to the backside of the sliding rail ( 20 ) and a lower flange ( 34 ), characterized in that the rail supporting body ( 30 ) comprises a first tilted rib ( 52 - 1 ) extending from a position (P- 1 a) at the lower flange ( 34 ) near the first support element ( 36 ) to a position (P- 1 b) at the upper flange ( 32 ) near the centre of the guide ( 10 ) and a second tilted rib ( 52 - 2 ) extending from a position (P- 2 a) at the lower flange near the second support element ( 38 ) to a position (P- 2 b) at the upper flange ( 32 ) near the centre of the guide.
