<p>A method for the measurement of vinyl ends concentration in a polyester polymer by dissolving the polymer in a liquid solution with fluorinated carboxylic acid or fluorinated carboxylic anhydride, optionally heating the liquid solution or the mixture to a temperature between about 30 °C and 300 °C, subjecting the resulting mixture to an analysis where a quantitative signal for a fluorine atom or a fluorine-containing compound is produced, and calculating the quantity or concentration of vinyl ends from said quantitative signals.</p> |
