<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the AC power current consumption of a motor driving device for a heat pump type washing and drying machine. <P>SOLUTION: One terminal of a rectifier circuit 3 is connected from an AC power source 1 through a reactor 2, a short-circuit means 4 is connected between input terminals of the rectifier circuit 3 to constitute a power factor correction circuit, first and second inverter circuits 5A and 5B are connected between the output DC buses of the rectifier circuit 3, and a washing and dewatering motor 8, a compressor motor 10 and the short-circuit means 4 are controlled by a control means 6. The control means 6 controls a DC bus voltage according to respective processes of washing and drying by a voltage control means 61 for controlling the conduction of the short-circuit means 4 according to the signal of a DC voltage detection means 60 which detects the DC bus voltage, controls the rotation speed of the washing and dewatering motor 8 or the compressor motor 10 by an inverter control means 62 further, and performs output control so that the AC power supply current becomes equal to or less than a prescribed value. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
