<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical composite element which is suitable for a luminance-enhancing film, the element achieving improvement in display grade due to improvement in light diffusion, improvement in punching processability and self supportability, and product-cost reduction, and to provide its manufacturing method. <P>SOLUTION: The optical composite element is provided with; a reflection-type polarizing element having a resin layer having cholesteric regularity; and an optically anisotropic layer whose retardation Re in the forward direction is nearly 1/4 wavelength. In addition, the reflection-type polarizing element and the optically anisotropic layer are integrated, via an adhesive layer, and the adhesive layer is a mixture which contains a composite, whose shearing storage elastic modulus at a temperature of 23°C is 1-500 MPa, and a filler. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
